Butter Cream Frosting

Ingredients:

~ 2 sticks softened butter

~ 4 cups powdered sugar

~ 2 teaspoons of vanilla

 

Instructions:

1. In stand mixer or with hand mixer (stand mixer is easier) put softened butter in bowl and mix on high for 2 mins or until it gets lighter in color, scrape the bowl half way through

2. Scrape bowl again and add the powdered sugar. Mix on medium low until it comes together, scrape bowl then turn it up to high for 2 to 3 mins

3. Add vanilla give one last mix to combine and you're ready to start frosting any of your favorite treats

 

Note: Since temperature effects the consistency of butter you can adjust the consistency of your frosting by adding milk, heavy cream or half and half to thin the frosting or add more powdered sugar to thicken frosting. Hope you enjoy!.
