Easiest Dutch Oven Bread

Ingredients:

~ 3 cups flour

~ 1 teaspoon salt

~ 1 teaspoon dry active yeast

~ 1 1/4 cup warm water

Instructions:

1. In large bowl sift flour, add in salt and yeast, pour in your warm water (about 80-90 degrees) Stir until all the flour is combined and it forms in to a dough, you can add 1/2 cup more water if needed.

2. Cover with plastic wrap or light weight damp towel, let sit in warm place for 4 to 12 hours (I make this in the morning so it will be ready for dinner)

3. At the end of 4 to 12 hours put your empty dutch oven or a heavy oven safe pan with a lid (I use a stone pampered chef pan or a cast iron pan both with lids) in your oven and preheat pan and oven to 450. While your oven is preheating, uncover your dough and sprinkle some flour over edges and top, scrape from sides with silicone spatula and form in to a ball or the shape of the pan you are using, it doesn't need to be perfect. Once your pan and oven are preheated carefully remove lid from pan and place bread inside, set the lid on top and bake for 40 mins. When your bread is done let cool at least 5 mins before cutting in to it. Enjoy!

NOTE: This bread is very crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The outside can be hard to cut through, an electric knife works best for me.
