Ingredients:
~ 16oz bag of egg noodles
~ 16oz of Velveeta cheese or Kraft singles
~ 2 sticks of butter
~ 1 can of cream of chicken soup
~ 2 cans of tuna
~ 3/4 cup milk
~ 1 row of cracker
~ 1/2 cup peas (optional)
Note: You can change out the noodles and cheese for 2 boxes of mac and cheese dinners to save on money and time
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9/13 casserole dish.
2. Fill a 6 quart pan with water 3 inches below the top, over high heat bring to a boil. Once it reaches a boil add in your noodles and follow time directions on the bag or box.
3.When your noodles are done, drain and add back to the pan. Add in 1 stick of butter, milk and cheese, stir until cheese and butter are melted and combined. Open, drain and break up tuna, add in to noodles as well as your can of soup and peas, stir to combine.
4. Pour your mixture in to the greased 9/13 pan, spread evenly. In a medium bowl melt 1 stick of butter, while butter is melting crush the crackers, add crushed crackers to melted butter and combine. Spread buttered cracker crumbs evenly over top noodle mixture. Cover with tin foil, bake covered for 15 mins then remove tin foil and bake another 15 mins. Enjoy!
