Meatballs

Ingredients:

~ 1 pound ground beef

~ 1/2 cup saltine cracker crumbs

~ 1 tablespoon fresh basil 

~ 1 egg

~ 1 teaspoon garlic powder or fresh garlic

~ 1/2 teaspoon white pepper 

~ 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 

~ 1 teaspoon salt

~ 1 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning 

~ 1 teaspoons onion powder 

~ pinch of red pepper flakes

~ 1/4 cup milk

~ 1 tablespoon olive oil

( 1/2 cup of parm would be great as well)

 

Instructions: 

1. In large bowl mix all ingredients (except olive oil) together with your hand until just combined, don't over mix.

2. Roll in to golf ball size meatballs (or any size you want)

3. In large deep skillet or dutch oven over medium heat add in olive oil and sear meatballs on both sides. You might have to do this in batches. Then when they are all seared pour in two cans or jars of your favorite marinara and cook on low for 20 mins (cut one in half to check that they are done) and enjoy over noodles or on a meatball sub!
